Captain Facts

Welcome... 'CAPTAIN FACTS' is finally HERE! 

 
The Captain is a mysterious man. So, in light of that fact, will share here, with you other occasional 'facts' as best as can be discovered and known, in a segment I like to call Captain Facts.

Captain Fact #1- "The Captain" hates Walt Whitman...for some reason.

Captain Fact #2 - 'The Captain' Has what some might consider an unhealthy obsession with opera singer Enrico Caruso. (Especially when he's dressed like a Captain).

~

Captain Fact #3 - 'The Captain' is of mixed Irish AND Scottish descent, a fact which at times creates many problems for him, and goes a long way to explaining some of his Jeckyl and Hyde behavior. (The rest of the way usually explained by too much alcohol).

~

Captain Fact # 4 -  The Captain's Birthday is August 28th, 1915. He likes to call it his "Death Day"... for some reason.

Captain Fact #5 - The Captain has a multitude of houses: one outside of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, one in San Francisco, a castle in Scotland, and a condo in Pensacola, Florida.

Captain Fact # 6 -  The Captain Loves Haggis and Pie.

Captain Fact # 7 -  The Captain's ship is the S.S. Diamondback. There is a species of rattlesnake called a Diamondback -           No relation.

Captain Fact # 8 -  The Captain is Deathly afraid of spiders.

Captain Fact # 9 -  The Captain always writes poems for his relatives on their Birthdays and Christmas. Hey, its saves money!

Captain Fact # 10 -  The Captain is superstitious about Black Cats... for some reason.

Captain Fact # 11 -  The Captain, {though born in 1915} has been {arguably} referenced historically in both writing and early photographs as far back as the early 19th Century? Yes!

Captain Fact # 12 -  The Captain has a spunky daughter named Cecelia. She doesn't appreciate her Fathers 'poetry' (or being held captive on her Father's boat!).

Captain Fact # 13 -  The Captain has poor oral hygiene. He thinks flossing and gargling are for namby-pambies. Plus, he doesn't want to wash the taste of haggis and wine from his mouth. Hence the reason his breath has a tendency to smell like a rancid corpse.

Captain Fact # 14 -  The Captain does battle with a certain cluster of young hipster witches and warlocks.

The Captain built a Time Machine!

Captain Fact # 16 -  The Captain loves the Twilight Saga. His favorite character is Edward, of course, because he's a very fast runner!

Captain Fact # 17 -  The Captain has a granddaughter named Audrey whom he uses as a tool to punish his daughter. How paternal...
